Re: OT: Open Carry

I think it sucks to live in a country where social issues make decent people carry a gun. I've never wished I carried and I thankful for that. Sir, with all due respect , last time(?) I fished in Canada a guy had cut up another guy and was mailing various pieces of him to various destinations. Too ...

"here in Missouri, were saying there would be gunfights in the street, gun violence would go up, and there would be blood running down the streets. NONE of that happened. Where did I come up with my FACTS ? I didn't state any " I remember that vote, and, as you stated, the arguments against conceal...

Re: O.T. take my hand

We can not control your grief. Only offer condolences. For all our passion of the outdoors I doubt few would not give up a year of hunting if it gave you any solace, just because you know what that means as a sportsperson... Trusting what is beyond can be hardest when we need to the most. Hang in th...

Hey! Looks like you get along just fine with that bow.
Nice shot on your fallow deer. Congrats.
I hold my bow up with a monopod usually.

Re: Thoughts on this injury?

I've seen a buck when a fight breaks,(when one of them turns to run) try to gore the hind quarter of the other. Some bucks show long scars there too. If you watch long fights on video watch for the break apart at the end and now and then you'll see that last attempt to get a hit on the buck trying t...

Re: Thinking about a crossbow have a few questions

A string aid /rope allows adding twists to maintain brace height.

It reads like you will get along real well with an Excalibur and see many years out of a Vixen should you choose to do so.

Re: Thermal Cameras For Tracking ?????

I'd go with a tracking dog before a gadget. However they make units for hunting.. http://www.sportsmansguide.com/product/index/flir-scout-ps24-handheld-thermal-imaging-monocular?a=1333003&pm2d=CSE-SPG-15-PLA&utm_medium=PLA&utm_source=Google&utm_campaign=CI&ci_src=17588969&ci_sku=WX2*0420675000000&gc...

Re: First crossbow deer need help

Nice buck! Great dog. Should you ever breed that hound...research natural bob tails and bloodlines. With my breed(non Catahoula) it's a no no to breed with another natural bob... to avoid serious defects. Pretty sure that's the deal. My stud has never been bred to a natural bob like himself, so that...

Re: checked out the matrix 355 keeping the Emax

Hey, you looked anyway, and now won't be wondering. Lookin is fun sometimes... Should you look further in time..I looked at a members newest bow. Compact and less awkward than many older styles and gets the job done. Cub with matrix string.. http://excaliburcrossbow.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=56...

Re: Ever been tempted?

Resist temptation! Do be sure to use an arrow that you don't have any others matching.... Maybe write property of Sheriff Wilson, or maybe F.D.A. or E.P.A. on it too. A ghilly suit for a slow crawl recovery. Perhaps an astro turf carpeted wheeled dolly and another piece of astro turf with some plast...
