Ya, note Kegbelly's approach... Getting broadheads to hit where field tips do might be doable with some broadheads. But when it is not, why worry? Just shoot a broadhead. If broadheads group, no planing, no flyers at random for unknown reasons ,adjust sites to dial them in for pin point accuracy and...

Pre cross-bow. Probably another hunt after third shift and light was creeping in when starting into the woods. Heading into a stand site a deer got up to my left about thirty yards. I gave a couple grunts hoping to cover my presence with a better association than being human. Watching it's legs show...

Take your time I guess. While any bow can suffice as a back-up, My having two different models is for other reasons. If I were choosing a bow with one already owned as back up and reliability was a concern.... I would buy the same model already owned allowing for lots of replacement parts in hand. Y...
