Two Men A Mule and still having trouble with bolts
I have shot compound bows before and used different targets at different distances. When I went to pull the arrows out of the target I had to use some force but not exertion. For my Axiom I bought a block target from Academy Sports. I shot bolts from 20 and 30 yards using field points and Xwhacker m...

Re: first and last fletching jig
***BITZENBURGER DIAL-O-Fletch*** works the very best and will outlast its owner! Great investment, IMO... You can go to the For Sale area here and on Archerytalk.com and get a Bitz for under $40.00. I know because I worked a deal with a fellow hunter in the For Sale area and got a Like...

Re: Trouble getting limbs off
You can always drill the screw heads off. Just use a small drill bit, the size of the screw not the whole big head.
I agree that the allen heads strip easy. I had two sets of vibration reducer screws strip with only a little pressure.
Excalibur was super thou they sent me new ones.

Molded Limb Tips?
Newbie Question :?: I am looking for a new string for my Axiom SMF and was wondering if the Flemish string would fit. The website says, "Excalibur crossbows with the Magtip limbs. For new molded limb tips only." Does the Axiom SMF has the magtip limbs? I know they have the molded limb tips...

Limbs marked with 8.5 and 9
I put the Excaliber shock suppression system on my Axiom today and found black felt tip writing on the back of the limbs. Marked where the end of the limb secures to the riser. On the left limb, holding the bow as to fire it, had the number 9 written on it and the right limb had 8.5. Does this mean ...

Discontinuing Models
On ArcheryTalk.com it was reported that Excalibur is discontinuing the E Series, Equinox, Exomax, Exocet 200, and Exlipse XT for 2014. Has anyone heard anything official from Excalibur? I know they will still repair the E series and have parts for awhile, but was just wondering if anything official ...

How to determine age of crossbows
I am new to crossbows and crossbow hunting but not to archery in general. However, I cannot tell the age of a crossbow that doesn't have a date stamp or serial number. Is there anyway to tell which model is the oldest? Reason: I can purchase several Excalibur models used but don't know how old they ...
