Sounds like something is loose . Check All your screws. I know it is a pain to do this but take the time and I think you will be ok.

that happened to me also. blade broke at the insert no blood only went in up to the insert. a group of guys were tracking a deer one had shot and found my 6pt. 3 days later. no spoilage at all must have died that morn .

I never had trouble with the rings coming loose . What I meant was the ADF to the trigger. That's is the mounting that came loose.

Scope mounting coming loose

How many of you had your scope mount come loose and what did you do? Mine did so I countersunk the holes and put in new screws and locktited them in seems to hold good so far. Would like to know how you fixed yours.

The only thing I can see wrong with hot melt glue is if you use a target like a block or some kind of foam is when the arrow goes into it creates a LOT of heat and it may melt the glue . the file method and cleaning and a good glue is you answer. JMO
