Re: Long limb vs. short limb

Not a thing wrong wid Force 10 material n it has elasticity, it is a a very good material. What you don't want on Recurves material wid vectran in it I'm not saying there is anything wrong with them...they just don't have the elasticity that other string materials do. When going from a factory stri...

Re: Long limb vs. short limb

Strings Strings Strings... lol If you want to know what effect strings have on your limbs talk to Boo, ComfyBear, nchunterkw...or any other quality string maker. The older string material has more elasticity than some of the newer material and is easier on the limbs. It is my thinking that the highe...

That said, I believe they have made changes to the riser to counter some of the issues. (I believe there were also other issues involved which were also ...

Re: correct broadheads

I use the 125 grain spitfire with my Matrix 310 (same as the Grizzly) and have not had a problem.
My arrows tipped with a 125 grain broad head weigh 426 grains and had a complete pass through at 42 yards last fall.

Re: The broad broadhead discussion

I am not sold on the not opening deal at slower speeds. I would be more concerned with penetration/pass through at slower speeds but I also realize foc has a lot to do with it. Last fall I used 18" Spynal Tapps w/110 grain brass inserts tipped with 125 grain Nap Spit Fire 3 blade broad heads with my...
