Re: matrix or micro

I am 62 years old, have had back and hernia surgery. The 330 would be an excellent choice. Easy enough to cock by hand, deadly accurate, and big enough for any North American large game hunting. I had the Matrix 330 and the Matrix 310 and decided to keep the 310 because it was easier on my back when...

Re: Looking for insight - New to xbow

My neighbor loves his micro 335. I have shot it and it feels great; easy to cock with the rope cocker too. For me my BD380 will be going to the woods with me this year. It shoots great and is easy to cock back. But any Excalibur xbow you choose will serve you well. If you are able to shoot one befo...

Re: Looking for insight - New to xbow

Any of the Excalibur crossbows (past or present models) will work excellent for most white tail hunting. The smaller ones do have their advantages hunting from ground blinds, but I have hunted from tree stands, ground blinds, and enclosed blinds without any problem using my Matrix 310. It is deadly ...

Re: Matrix 330

I like my Hawke scope, but I don't shoot out to 100 yards very often... only once so far. They are a good scope though ;)

Re: Weight or velocity?

Depends on what you are currently using... I prefer a heavier arrow over a few fps. My hunting arrows weigh in at 426 grain when tipped with a 125 grain broad head. I took the longest archery shot I have ever taken last fall and was a complete pass through at 42 yards with my matrix 310. She was rel...

Finally figured it out...

As we age our bodies tend to slow down and stop growing. "Everything Except Our Legs That Is".....
I know this is true because with each passing year it becomes more difficult to reach my shoe laces. :eusa-think:

Re: Need expert help!!

Thanks for the info :) Water.. I have old fashioned wall mounted registers in each room of my house. Father in-law passed away 15 years ago and the last one he installed was the bronze one and it is due for replacement. I kinda wondered if it was a corrosion related difference between the two... Als...
