The cast iron one is 317.00 and the bronze one is 599.00 What makes the bronze one better than the cast? What are ...

Re: Wraps or no wraps

Only bad thing about wraps is you don't want to leave them in a hot vehicle or direct sunlight... they will unwrap when hot.
I removed mine after leaving them in my arrow case behind my truck seat last summer.. :(

Re: Trophy Rock time

I will be re-supplying my mineral licks next weekend if possible. Over 3 foot of snow in the woods which is no problem, but I need to be able to get to my cabin first.

I preached and preached to my brother in-law about the triangle of pain when he bought my 330 from me. Last fall he was sighting in his scope using a boat cushion for a rest on his bench.. tore half his thumb nail off and screamed like a little girl. But he won't do that again. I also had to stop hi...

Re: Crossbows

The older I get, the more I like my Matrix 310
Have shot several deer with it and always hits where I aim.
From time to time I do think about picking up a BD 330 though.

Re: #&^[email protected]*!

If you complete an RMA it will go to Excalibur's repair depot in Michigan. If you want to try it your self an impact driver is your best bet. Hammer in the allen socket before starting. You can also cut a straight piece of allen key and tap that it to the fastener, then heat the piece of allen key....

Re: Newbie wants to get it right

Greetings neighbor :) I do my hunting in price county. I own the Matrix 310 (about the same as the Grizzly) Big enough to hunt with in any Wisconsin woods, and easy enough to cock that I can spend a couple hours target shooting without any problems. I am 61 and have had hernia and back surgeries. 5'...

Re: Newbie Incoming!

Welcome aboard...
and congratulations on what I think is the best all around crossbow for target practice and hunting.
Easy enough to cock for an afternoon of target shooting and big enough for any North American big game hunting.

I might have to try this next year. I can sauerkraut each fall and also can salsa and stewed tomatoes. Even did spaghetti sauce a few years back.

Curious if the canned venison works well in chilli?
I use ground venison in my chilli. (which I mix 2/3 venison to 1/3 pork)
