Re: mechanical broad heads

I once shot a big 8 pointer 15 yards with a giant rothaar snuffer absolute lung shot total passthrough and l was on the ground. O blood .....found him after a long visual grid search . honestly there was hardly much blood where he crashed only on mouth area...l simply was baffled by it myself. As l ...

Re: fixed or mechanical

The vixen 2 is as slow as they come and l have shot spitfires, xact, lazer strike 2,xact cut with full penetration. The swhacker is the only head that l tried that l felt robbed energy from the bow resulting in a kill but not a pass thru. Keep in mind that a "slow" vixen 2 is still as fast as a decen...

Re: Salt on old wounds

Well said.AJ.. honestly for our area the buck is basically as big as they come so l guess if l got him it would have been a huge disappointment in future hunting seasons.....at least that's what l tell myself. I have had many friends and family die on me recently along with other things that let me ...

Hard to beat the claw . Dosnt seem to slip when walking as the others do.

Re: Character bows

My vixen 2 is pretty beat up. Dents in the scope spray paint camo but it still shoots dead on out to 50 yards.
I love that crossbow

Re: mechanical broad heads

I like trying new broadheads so many to choose from. When l started bowhunting l bet there were less than 25 popular choices. I remember when muzzy came out. And the rocky mountain broadheads . Satalite and wasp were the only replaceable heads at the time. If we were having a older broadhead pissing...
