Re: Hey long range guys? Trajectory and drop question

That's exactly what I was going to do, fire an ignitor after it. But idea of sending a 30 arrow after a 15$ arrow just made me cut my losses. I was my own fault. Unfortunately it's 250 km away and we left last night. They looked this morning but it's gone. I don't really care about the arrow, I was ...

Re: Gen1 Gen2 335 Riser

GenI has a more forward swept riser. It is also a little heavier by a couple ounces. GENII is swept back more, which relieves stress and makes it easier to cock. To keep the speed, they made the rail 1/2 longer. It's debatable which is better as they are both great bows. GenI is typically faster tha...

Hey long range guys? Trajectory and drop question

Had a arrow go over a target yesterday when letting some family shoot the crossbow. It got dark so I couldnt locate the arrow. The table was approximately 5.5 feet off the ground and the bow was aimed pretty much horizontal when it went off. So what kind of drop are you seeing at what ranges? Give m...

Re: Sanity check: Matrix 355 or Micro 335 Gen I?

I need a sanity check from my fellow addicts! My bow is the decked out Matrix 355 (see signature) and I picked up a Cub for my 21yo who is 5' and couldn't even ready my first bow, an Axiom SMF. If she took my Matrix out (I would ready it first before she walked out back to the blind) that left me w...

Re: Micro 335 problems

Im in retail and I can say that Excalibur has the best warranty of any company. Crossbows or other wise.
I did a scope warranty last week, and it was 46 hours from time I shipped to the time it was back in my hand.
Excalibur will take care of you

Re: Any issues with bulldog or micro 355? Which one to buy?

Not sure, the 1/2 for some reason makes it fit me just that much better than the 355. Not enough to justify one over the other, I do prefer the 355. The rail on the micro 355 is 1/2 longer than the 335. Excalibur claims a 400 grain arrow from a 355 will travel at 340fps. Search my posts, I chorny'd ...
