Re: Bulldog 400 Chronograph Results

....what i don't get in marketing is why can't you guys use what an "average person" uses to come up with your data....why does it "ALWAYS" have to be what the average person does not use or do...and don't say you guys DONT KNOW what the average person does under average circumstances.... ....just ...

Re: Air brakes vs. Db killers

I can't speak for others but i have REDS, air brakes, and the dbkiller limbs on mine and i absolutely love how quiet and sturdy it feels when shooting my 350LE. I also wrapped my stirrup with a few layers of camo tape. The impact of the arrow hitting my rag bag is way more noticeable than the noise ...

Re: String to long ?

Wouldn't the string be the same for any matrix series? They all have the same limbs.

Re: Oh yeah! She's here (and a couple questions)

I bought a weaver mount bubble level that sticks out from under the scope. Easy to transition from looking through the scope to checking level.

Re: correct distance between bumper and string at rest

Speaking as an owner of a 350le, that string will stretch a ton before it settles in. So 3/4" away now will be touching by tomorrow lol but once it settles in, i try to get around 1/4" as well. But i plan on trying closer/farther as well and see what it likes better with 150gr heads on the diablos.

Re: String break in

Boomer 81, Why did you "rinse' your sting ? I've never heard of that method. :? Maybe it's something new and hi-tech? and thats why I've never heard of it as I'm a very low-tech kind of person. Gene Lol its just a saying. i didnt mean literally rinse my string. I meant it as "do it over" ki...

Re: Crossbow Security

Agreed. Take the xbow apart at the riser and put it in the safe if you have room. If not, put it in a lockable gun case (usually a two rifle plastic job) and hide that someplace i guess.

Re: String break in

I know with the string that came on my 350LE it stretched a bunch after installing the REDS. Since i had to raise the brace height considerably to clear the bumpers. I forget how many times i cocked it and let it sit over night. Then uncock it during the day and rinse/repeat. If i remember it was a ...

Re: Boofest question

.....to further exacerbate my "to do" list....it is looking more and more that sometime this late spring I will be the proud recipient of "rotator cuff" surgery on my left shoulder (yes I am a lefty) which should effectively end any hunting for a good period of the 2016 season    Ant...

Re: Excalibur 405 crossbow

Another great customer service story from Excalibur. It is something rare now a days to find a company that stands behind their product like they do. As well as provide the level of customer service that they do. Glad you got your xcal back to form!!

Re: Turkey day molested by the lady warden

I really hope you can find the time to go fight this bogus ticket. This is absolutely a "letter of the law" vs "spirit of the law" issue. The reg is clearly a safety deal. They dont want people making haphazard blinds that can allow movement to be seen within. Meaning the hunter may be mistaken for ...

I uploaded one of the pics you sent. Seems like it is almost like a grease stain or something. Or some type of heat imprint from the forming process. Hopefully someone else who knows more could help!
