There is a spring that applies pressure to a ball bearing which fits in a couple of indents on the safety lever. This is all inside the trigger box. Here are somethings to check with initial sight in issues. Make sure all screws including the 2 that attach the trigger to the mainframe are tight (you will have to remove the stock to get to the 2 trigger mounting screws) Use the same arrow with the same vane pointed down each shot.
