Re: crossbow used to kill three in Toronto
So stupid! I'm from the area and heard about this early on. Got home at 3pm and put it on our 24 hour news station (cp24) and they were actually reporting on how fast modern crossbows can be reloaded comparing them to semi automatic weapons, then as the day went on somebody must have called them out...

Re: goofy at the bow shop
I can see how these guys not educating themselves on the general maintenance of their excals could lead to broken limbs which ends up giving Excalibur a bad name to the people who don't know any better.

Re: New Ibex Owner
Congrats!! I also have an ibex and love it! I bought gold tip laser 2 arrows early on and couldn't get them to fly consistently, even refletched them with 2" blazers and a helical, still inconsistent. Bought some black eagle zombie slayers, 85 grain inserts, 2" Blazers, and was taught how ...

Re: Mid range scope options
I have an ibex which is the Exo series size so big isn't a problem, the redfield is the one I'm most interested in becaus it seems to have all the stuff I'd like in an upgrade like the speed ring, decent glass, good warranty and I think it's an illuminated rectical (is it?). I heard Nikon has great ...

Mid range scope options
Just read a long thread about scopes on here and their was a lot of comparisons of high end scopes to stock Excalibur. Now I would love to own a crossbones or xb30 but they ar probably more than double what I could spend. I currently own an ibex smf and have the stock scope on it (cheapest they make...

Re: Shooting from a car window
I just had to make a mew thread for this..... I will join Boo in the watching section. lol And whoever is doing the shooting might want to consider bringing an extra pair of shorts along. I shot a red squirrel from my bathroom window last year and won't do it again. It was a good clean shot b...

Re: Jerks at the range...again.
Sproulster I didn't think you had much to apologize about, or even delete. Now, if you had made a series of posts suggesting that lumpy pampers would make good bear bait, now that would be a different matter. If you did that, the procedure should be - first delete, then apologize, and follow that u...
