Re: My Dynaflight center serving didn't last long...
Opinions appreciated, closing in on some BEAs from big john custom, 92gr brass, blazers. Dose anyone cut or have cut to 19"? Seems like a lot of bolt in the stirrup. If I stay with 100 to 125gr slicks, is a 92gr insert enough? I don't have the equipment to build my own yet, so I may just trust...

Re: Hog Experience Question
I used a G5 Striker Magnum (125 gr, 1.5") on a 19" Carbon Express Maxima Hunter. Total weight 380(?). Shot out of a Vortex one shot went through and killed 2 good hogs at once. Sounds like Don has nailed it down because of experience. I would stay away from a mechanical if I was hunting b...

Re: Swacker Broadheads
My advise is a fixed two blade for hogs. Min 500grain. Magnus are great flyers and the penetration is unmatched imo. Deer are a soft target where mechs have their place. Hogs are hard as rock in the shoulder. Heart lung shot is a must for quick recovery. Also a very heavy arrow.. Well did not see a...

Re: One Reason aka Why not to take a Poor Shot
I agree wholeheartedly with the premise of the thread....and I am sure that those photos were legitimately found on the web....but I'm wondering if they might have been photoshopped at some point. Aside from tv shows and movies, how often do we see arrows stopped mid-shaft, when there is no longer ...

Re: Swacker Broadheads
Found another post on another forum that was quite lengthy about this issue with Swhacker's. On post stated that they were introducing a "Crossbow Swhacker" so I went over to their site and found this in part: http://www.swhacker.com/faqs Can I use Swhacker Broadheads with my crossbow? &qu...

Re: Swacker Broadheads
Saw this and went home and inspected the ones I have on some BEA's. Them shrink bands kinda tough to break was first thing I noticed. When the blades were open though the "wing blades" did not touch the BEA's shafts or brass inserts. Had to hold them up to some light but they were resting/...
