Mine arrived today. It looks very precision built and toleranced tight. The string retention claws do look like they have been smoothed but I'm not for certain about that. Hopefully Boo knows. I'd shoot the same set up for both animals. You may want to use a turkey specific broadhead, and there are some good ones out there, but I'd choose the broadhead you want based on using them for deer, then use that for Turkey as well. JMO.

No worries. I have fletched arrows with the fletching over an inch away from the end of the arrow with no negative issues at all.
