Re: spitfire shooters
thought i would revisit this and update. so i got my buddys block target and went to shooting the spitfires again to see if i could figure out what the problem was. 3 shots at 30 yards all hit right in the bull, right where the field points were hitting. this is out of a pse fang not an excal....

i shoot 125 gr spitfires out of my micro 335 and they hit right with my field points. my sons and i bought a pse fang as a back up and for their girlfriends to use. this thing is super light. Great trigger and im touching fetching at 50 yards with it. But i screwed on a spitfire and its hitting 4in ...

Re: some strings more accurate than others?
nope its all good now. i think it was that string that seemed to keep stretching after it was reserved. i kept having to adjust the brace height. everything was tight. no cracks in limbs. it seems to be back in action.
the only thing that changed was the string.
the only thing that changed was the string.

Re: some strings more accurate than others?
i couldnt find anything loose, wrong or otherwise suspect.... i changed the string, left it cocked for a few days than adjusted the brace and because it had not been shooting well didnt bother aiming at a different dot after i smoked the first one.... robin hood! now im back to shooting fist ...

Re: Spitfire broadheads
i sacrificed a couple spitfires as prcatice tips when i first got my micro. they always hit right with my field points so i dont bother with practice tips. once in a while i will send one of the "sacrificed" tips down range for piece of mind.

Re: some strings more accurate than others?
so you shoot each arrow a bunch of times to figure out which vane down shoots best then mark it as cock vane and always shoot that vane down?

Re: some strings more accurate than others?

Re: Bolt Setup for 335 Micro
im sure these custom bolts are all great but my 335 stacks them right in there even out to 50 yards. plenty good for hunting. i was going to go custom at one time but decided to stay stock as i could just drive to the archery shop and grab more if i need and know they are the same as i have been sho...

Re: Thank you Vixenmaster
i think my issue is my latch or the scribe mark for the brace height.
