Re: Vixenmaster

I recently got one from him too, couldn't be happier. Black and tan; very nice string and compliments my camo 380, it just looks like it belongs on there.

Looks cool and works , but makes a lot of noise!
I just need to figure out how to make it remote controlled so it don't run constantly.

Re: Predator Hunting Questions

Well; I do know it scares the heck out of my house cat!  I also read on the one forum where some guys put them outside under a bush at Halloween, and when the trick or treaters come they turn them on with the remote and get a good laugh, usually at the parents expense!  :tw...

Re: Predator Hunting Questions

Your welcome Chad! These guys posting are giving some really good information to you, AND ME! There have been coyotes on a ridge behind my house for years. One day I was up on top of it looking for arrowheads and saw 2, one was big and coal black. Next day I went out and bought a mouth call and went...

Re: Dumb Question: Why Don't We Eat Yotes?

You need to shoot one and smell it! They can carry a lot of different diseases, so not recommended. BTW: turkey vultures also scavenge like other animals mentioned, maybe could throw one in the pot also! :P From what it sounds like from reading, they are edible, but better you than me!

Re: Predator Hunting Questions

Can't give much input, as I am a rookie myself! Here are 2 excellent forums on predator hunting, "Predatormasters forum", and "FoxPro forum" I think anyone that wants to get into coyote hunting should do a lot of searching and reading of the threads on "Predatormasters"...

Re: Mounting rings in rail - to the front or back ?

I've done it several ways, either both pushed forward, or the front pushed forward and the rear pushed backward or vice versa. I think both pushed forward is the correct way, but never had a problem doing it the other ways. I'm sure many just put them in the grooves and tighten them down without giv...

Re: Crossbow vs.Compound Bow.

I went to a crossbow because of a not that great shoulder. Have to laugh at the compound shooters that hate crossbows! I remember when the compound was illegal, than they legalized them with a maximum of no more than a 20% let off, also mechanical releases were illegal to use. Most of the stick bow ...

Re: Let's hear about X mas gifts

Mine came a little late!
This morning I went out with the flintlock and shot a doe.
I'm iffy with that contraption, so getting one with it is like a gift!
