Re: Coyote attack

I also believe they need to be shot on sight. I was able to kill one this past year with my rifle but I saw 2 more, one nice black one that I didn't get a shot at. I love my grandchildren I would really hate something like that happening to them. I hope the little girl isn't tramatized by this event...

Re: getting ready for next season!!

Good luck this upcoming year. I hope to get my first deer also this year with my Vortex. I am also really glad I bought an Excalibur. I've had several family and friends cone over and shoot mine and they will buy one also this upcoming year.

Good Shooting!

Re: comeing soon

Does anyone on here want to come to N.C. on a free turkey hunt in the spring. I believe I can arrange a place to hunt on a couple of my leases.

Thanks,
Eric

Re: comeing soon

What if you mounted your feeders a little higher off the ground so only the deer could reach?? The feeders that I have are hanging feeders to keep the bears out. The problem with all the turkeys are they are almost like hogs coming to a feeder, when about 30 to 40 come in they usually eat everything...

Re: comeing soon

We are overun with turkeys in our area they eat everything you put out for deer except food plots. I am going to let some of my friends hunt this year on my leases just to kill some of these turkeys, we are only allowed 2 gobblers per hunter so we don't even phase them. I watched 9 long beards and 3...

Excel String

I saw the post about the Excel string being too short. I tried putting my Excel string back on my crossbow last night after reserving it and I couldn't get it to fit back on it seemed to short to fit back over the limb tips while I had it cocked back so I put my Flemish string back on. I wanted to t...

www.ArcheryTalk.com

I have bought and sold a lot of archery equipment on this site. I would have to say the people on the Excalibur forums are nicer and more helpful.

Re: Good all around target

I use Morrell bag targets at my archery club. I have over 400 people at the range each year practicing before our 3 D shoot. They hold up very well and they have a nice green bag target for about $60.00 this isn't much money for a great bag target.

Re: Flemish string

It would probably would get close to 330fps if I had a 350gr. arrow like it is advertised. The lightest arrow that I've shot so far is a 407gr. Goldtip laser II. I've been shooting just about every week depending on the weather. I have a lot of family and friends that have never shot a crossbow comi...

Flemish string

I just received my new Flemish string and I followed the directions last night and set my brace height. This afternoon I took it out and I saw where it had stretched a little an was barely touching the rubber dampeners. I took my Vortex out and chronographed the new string after shooting several tim...
