It feels like a snap and click kind of fit. I just don't want to pull to hard and bust the latch(es) that hold it together. No, didn't heat it up. I was putting a Trigger Tech, so I may have had the stock off and used an old arrow down the interior of the rail and popped it out that way. I just know one of them was tough.

Not sure if this is the recommended way or not, but when I installed them on my bows I had one that was unusually harder to get out than the others. I think I found a real thin screwdriver shaft and poked the cap from behind by using one of the holes for mounting the rail. Just be careful not to dam...

I had to say goodbye to my Matrix 350SE today and am now back down to just 3 bows. Anthony's Matrix 380 (Jelly Belly) entered the house a couple of weeks ago and required me to give up one of my current bows. The kids still need the Sapphire, so the 350 was the next choice.
