Rope Burn

I have read on this and other forums that cocking rope burn is nothing new.

However as anyone found a way to prevent it from getting any worse? I don't care much about a few marks here and there but I don't want it to continue to eat into the stock.

Crossbow quiver you can close and carry on your back

I am looking for a crossbow quiver that I can put my arrows in, with broad heads, close the top, sling it on my back and walk thru the woods, briars, weeds, etc., to my blind or stand or stalk hunt. I know I can use a back pack but that is to bulky and then I would want to put a bunch more stuff in ...

Cocking Rope Rub

I have read where others have found the more powerful crossbow models take the paint right off the frame. This is a result of cocking and de-cocking my new 380 only two times. [https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=2214178741941286&set=pcb.2214182831940877&type=3g] Still trying to post pic...

Damage to Barrel

I am fairly new to crossbow hunting and just won a 2017 Excalibur Matrix 380 Tact-Zone Crossbow Package and when I received it from UPS the box had a big gouge in it. When I unpacked the crossbow I found a big chip out of the barrel. I don't know if it hurts the crossbow or if I am just being too ca...

Past Excalibur Models

I emailed Excalibur Customer Service, (ECS), about my Axiom and ask them how long did they figure they would be able to replace the limbs, in case I broke one. Dawn replied that she has limbs in the inventory but doesn't know how long they will last as she cannot predict warranty service on the axio...

Limited Edition Excaliburs

The Excalibur matrix 350 LE/SE crossbow was a limited edition production run and they only made 1,000 of them per Excalibur customer service. That is why you don't see it on their product page. My question is: What happens to the replacement parts, like limbs, risers, etc., on discontinued models? F...

Re: Rough feel on limbs under string servings near tip

One of my matrix bows has the "rough" finish l think your talking about mine looks like some sand is in the dip. Im thinking it was air bubbles that dried. ? lThat is what mine feels like. Your definition fits exactly what mine feels like. Thanks a lot I will keep an eye on it just in case.

Re: Dicks sporting goods and excalibur bows

When bow tech bought out excalibur they bow tech canceled a lot of distribution contracts with certain dealers.

That is why you don't see excalibur crossbows at Academy Sports anymore, at least around Arkansas and Oklahoma.

Rough feel on limbs under string servings near tip

I did a cotton ball test on my limbs and no fibers showed up. If you run your finger over the limbs everything is really smooth until you get under the string loop servings near the tip, about 1 to 1/2". Then it feels like real fine orange feel. The orange peel has little dimples in it. I check...

Re: Grizzly SMF Scope

Peter also told me to go to their website and open and RMA so I could send them the vari-zone and they would send me a deadzone in its place. After I pay shipping of course.

Re: Grizzly SMF Scope

Called and spoke to Peter Bellfore about the scope switch. He said the vari-zone and the deadzone are the same scope with the same functionality but a few minor cosmetic changes. He also said that they didn't have enough deadzone's, as it is a new product, to put with every bow sold, so they put the...

Grizzly SMF Scope

I just got my brand new Matrix Grizzly from Pine Mountain Archery and in the box was a scope in a box with SMF stamped on it. I checked my Axiom and it is the exact same scope that came with it. Excalibur's website says it is suppose to come with a DeadZone scope. When I looked up the Accessories ta...
