I am glad it want go any further.

I have read on this and other forums that cocking rope burn is nothing new.

However as anyone found a way to prevent it from getting any worse? I don't care much about a few marks here and there but I don't want it to continue to eat into the stock.

I am looking for a crossbow quiver that I can put my arrows in, with broad heads, close the top, sling it on my back and walk thru the woods, briars, weeds, etc., to my blind or stand or stalk hunt. When bow tech bought out excalibur they bow tech canceled a lot of distribution contracts with certain dealers.

That is why you don't see excalibur crossbows at Academy Sports anymore, at least around Arkansas and Oklahoma.
