I had mine mount to my backpack for numerous walks through the woods and tree stand sits, it functioned flawlessly. It's a great design. I like how the Fletched end is protected as well as the pointy bits

You'll love the BD330. Firm believer it is the best all around bow in excal's lineup right now

I run my zombies at 15.5". I don't think you can really go wrong with anything 15.5 - 18. They will all shoot well at more than hunting distances
