Get them cut. I used 15" with my 335 Micro because I hang my crossbow on a hook while in the stand, and bumping that broadhead when a shot is presented is a disaster. JMHO!
Definitely, I hit the broadhead a few times when hanging it next to me in the stand...

Re: To Cut or Not

So I can just measure 15" from the back of the nock and have them cut? I am going to order some brass inserts and since my arrows started off as 22" BEE I assume I need the 92gr brass insert.

To Cut or Not

I have a Micro 335 and the BEE I ordered from "a supplier" came 18". My question is: Should I get them cut shorter or is it not worth the effort. When I load the bolt/arrow it seems like 2-3" of the shaft is past the end of the riser..

335 Micro adding the suppressor kit.

Has anyone added the suppressor kit to their micros? If so, how did it effect the speed vs the sound?

Phew, and I heard you had to munch on a warm buck nut, I'll take heart or liver any day over that!
I think the old saying was if you put a buck's nuts in your pocket it would bring you good luck....

Turkey Hunting: Gobblers gobble right at or just before sunrise mornings to let the area hens know where he is located. Nature has it that when he gobbles that the hens come to him usually if they haven't gone to nest already. The best way to get him, and I am giving you the condensed version, is to...

Re: My homemade vanilla killer recipe

Does it draw bears? We have so many bears here in NC and those black devils keep chewing up and tearing up stands would hate to use something that would draw them.

Re: Range Finders

What is the budget? The best one for the money is the Sig Kilo 2000. The usual price is around 499 but sometimes you can find sales that put it around 350.

Re: RAMCAT Terminal Performance on a Buck

Yessir! That is what I shoot now too, and what I killed that deer and the bison with. The accuracy I settle for is about a 1" to 1 1/2" group at 40yards for all arrows. Usually I just need to try a different vane in the rail to achieve this with my arrows. Shots on game limited to about 3...

Re: RAMCAT Terminal Performance on a Buck

Does the Ramcats fly good out of your 335? I too have a 335 and was thinking of going back to fixed heads.

Well Vixenmaster I'm thinking I would like to shoot the shortest arrow I can and as of right now I shoot the rage Hypodermics.

Thanks all for the replies. If I was to cut down my arrows what is the best way to remove the insert?

Micro 335 hardcase?

Does anyone know which hard cases (plastic) will fit my Micro 335 with the Munch Mount?

Best Bolts/Arrows

I realize this is a loaded question but I wanted the collective wisdom of this forum to share what they believe is the best (straightest and/or most consistent flying) arrow. I currently use a Black Eagle Executioner .003 +/- straightness at 18.5" (cut down from 22") bought from Borkholder...
