Re: ATV loading a deer buy yourself

Is certainly a solution but looks way too busy for my taste…it would help if he gutted the damned thing! I don’t understand why some people do not gut their kill right away.
Is there ANY good reason to leave the guts in?😖

Re: My New Year's Resolution

Mine is: Move to a place where there are deer! Over 100 hours this (firearm) season and no deer seen…saw 3 does in archery but out of XB range. Just kidding about the “move” because I really love my home.😂
Some “tag soup” simmering on the stove this morning…

Re: How's your deer season going?

I had that problem when I began hunting an area alongside a creek in NE Oklahoma. Lots of pics but when I hunted it no deer seen. Finally figured out I was hunting the wrong side of the creek. Switched sides and killed many deer there all from the same tree with my climbing tree stand. In my situat...

Re: How's your deer season going?

Season is going badly, as usual!😂 100+ hours on stand and a couple of still hunting forays and not one deer sighted in person…3 does way back in Sept. out of range and nothing since. My area of New Hampshire is deer poor. They have evaded me successfully as my cams show their presence of several wh...

Re: very off-topic but I need help!

I think I'm going with Bolt as his call name. We pick him up this Friday! He started off life bing the smallest of 3 that survived of 6 that were born and was tube fed. He became the biggest of the litter. His father is supposed to be a well balanced dog so I hope he's a good combination of friendl...

Re: First light

In my state it’s legal a half hour before sunrise and a half hour after sunset. Like most, it’s impossible to see detail for much of that time…I get out there according to what time I roll out of bed. Usually later than earlier. Hard to rise and shine at 72 😖
