I thought the only difference between the Equinox and the Exomax was thumb hole verses standard stock I do not know what a carved tip is all about.

Their is plenty to be proud of you got it done!
I have had spine shots that drop the deer in their tracks that require a second arrow not fun but has to be done.
He is a dandy can you give us the details what broadhead do you use?

I use the boot blankets with goose down booties and a hand warmer under my arches and it keeps me very warm.I wher the muck boots to get out there and switch to the blanket/bootie on stand.

I have a nice outdoor setup a covered broadhead pit that is useable all year and also a a portable target that works well.
I did a quick sighting in today took 3 shoots to hit dot at 10 yards and a few shots at 20 and 30 and I am pertty much ready to hunt .

I shoot .44cal hornady xtp 300 grain bullets out of my muzzel loader and they preform great.
I am sure they would do well out of your hand gun becouse that is what they were desinged for.

Recd Equinox today!

I receved my Equinox today and so far I love it . I have only shot 4 bolts becouse it is dark out but the Lumizone scope is awsome. I got my beast from American Archery Supply Ebay dealer, actually I ordered over the phone to up grade the scope and I would recomend them . Got a good price about $ 10...

You need to figure out the bedding and feeding areas and set up an ambush in between the two,of course the wind has to be allowed for with different stand locations. There could be any number of good locations depending on the topography or not very many for that matter. Rubs,scraps,runways,dropping...
