There is a member on crossbownation who now only has one working eye. Guess which way he now orients the hooks?
This is why we orient the hooks facing UP, This way we don't loose an eye incase it breaks.

Re: Plastic Tube On String Changer

I've never once been able to get the cocking rope hooks over that plastic tube. So I've always just slid it out of the way, and eventually just threw the plastic tube in the trash. Same thing for all 3 I've bought over the years.

Or do you mean the regular socket head screws. That's what Excal sends with limbs now. I have a pile of them I could mail you.

Re: I'm pretty sure I need one of these

Mee too! Buuuuuuuut im pretty sure an argument could be made that that is a pistol grip crossbow and is currently banned in Canader. Tap measure or straight edge should be accurate enough for this task too.

Haha what a shot! I've always said I would do something like that, but never have. Was the hill that steep that it rolled that much? Or just the squirrel reacting?

On man Janesy, you are really on a roll.

My worst blunder was forgetting to buy an archery license prior to opener. Didn't realize until I was on the atv on the way to the stand opening night. 🤦‍♂️
