I've never once been able to get the cocking rope hooks over that plastic tube. So I've always just slid it out of the way, and eventually just threw the plastic tube in the trash. Same thing for all 3 I've bought over the years.

I shot 3 deer with my BD417 and the same Vortex as yours last year. Distances of 35, 30, and 52 yds. I liked that reticle more and more every time I held it up at a deer. I guess we all process things in the heat of the moment differently. I don't focus on the 40 yd holdover right away just cause it...

Mee too! Buuuuuuuut im pretty sure an argument could be made that that is a pistol grip crossbow and is currently banned in Canader. In todays political climate i dont think i want to be caught importing one from China! Best case it get seized at the border, worst case you get a visit Pistol grips ...
