I use a hand held sharpener i bought at walmart.Works good.

Sorry to hear you couldn't find her.We all will lose a deer at sometime hunting.I'm hunting this weekend so i'll try to test fire another shwacker.

You would still have a 1" cut thru the deer with the blades closed.Either it was a non-fatal hit or maybe the deer went farther than you thought.How long did you go looking for her?

I still haven't seen a doe to shoot!

I used the 2" cut green shwackers this year and i'm 1for 1.Buck only went 40yds with a pass thru.I will try to shoot a doe with one.

3 blade 100gr spitfires are great on deer leaving huge bloodtrails.I use the swhacker this year and that did a great job too.The swhackers are $19.99 at midwayusa.com.
