Seems there should be a stop of some kind built in to the trigger mechanism to prevent it from hitting anything.

Frankly, the square edged plastic trigger is something I do not like about the Excals. Looks and feels cheap.

I sure wish we had 3 1/2 year olds like that down here (Central Fla). You guys are very fortunate.

A lot may depend on whether you hunt primarily in more open areas or in heavily wooded areas. The wooded areas with trees about and/or overhead will be darker later in the morning and get darker quicker in the late afternoon. In such a setting the larger diameter scope with illuminated reticle could...

PB Coons are a problem around feeders and corn baited hog traps. The woods are full of coons and the longer the feeder is in place the more and more coons will find it and come every day/night. The coon masses will eat more corn than any other woods critter. The only way to address the problem is to...

That drives me crazy when some slime ball steals like that. We would have a serious problem if I ever found out who took something of mine. It sounds like your property owner already knows who the likely thieves are. Most likely locals. I would file a theft report to the local authorities immediatel...

ATV Front Box?

What brand/model box is that mounted on the front rack of the ATV? Is it a sturdy rigid box?

A link would help.

Very interesting subject. From my own experiences and after having seen numerous bow shots in slow motion video, there is no denying the fact that deer can and do react to sudden unatural sounds such as a loud bow shot. Their obvious reaction is moving, which can result in a bad hit and a fatally wo...

"i have several FFF strings for 4 yrs now & they haven't stopped stretching!" That sounds scary. Wouldn't it eventually weaken to the point of possibly breaking? Why would a string continue to stretch or not? What are the advantages (or disadvantages) of a custom made xbow string? BTW,...

I am curious about this brace height thing. If a new string stretches and the brace height changes slightly, does that increase or decrease the poundage and change the arrow speed and/or point of impact? How much variation in bow poundage, arrow speed, and point of impact can brace height change hav...

If durability is the same for both, it seems the lighted reticle Lumi-zone scope would be a great compromise between a regular gun type scope with black crosshair and a red dot, especially for deer hunting.

Cool photo! Always enjoy seeing the little ones.

Hopefully they will all survive, but it is not likely if there are any coyotes around. Coyotes have learned to trail the doe around to find the fawns.
