what sort of sanding compound should I be looking to buy? The mother's polish that I have isn't aggressive enough I think to sand the imperfections down!

I ended up finishing the season with the damaged string that was on it. I also did the 180 reversal on the string to stretch it's life to the max like some had suggested. I even took the trouble to polish the latch with Mother's_Metal_Polish :think: :think: :think: I'm not a latch specialist, but it's been shown to me that often the rough spot are actually voids in the metal, instead of high spots. They must be sanded out, simple polishing only make them look pretty...

Hi. Crossbow season is ramping up but I noticed my string serving starting to fizz and fluff around the left trigger hook. It only slight now but can this become dangerous at some point? My 335 with the xr_bolt does 20 yards, 30 yards, 46 yards according to the spot on app and I've tested at the range countless times and this holds true!
