You wouldn't want to be naked outside today afternoon at my place. Black flies out big time.

Re: Sausage making question
We've done summer sausage and are happy with the LEM casings. What frustrates me is loading hog casings on to the funnel of the grinder. I was considering the pre-loaded casings or collagen casings for brats/Italian sausages for the BBC or frying pan. We are lucky in that Hertel's is stationed righ...

Re: Got me a Vortex Coming
Although, knowing your background, I am quite sure that both of you Dan and Don are more into mechanics than I am, I'll suggest something. Few times I had a good luck with filing a slot in Allen head screw, big enough to accept biggest slot screwdriver I have. And then use chanellocks to turn that s...

Re: 2021 Ontario Moose draw system
"I would far rather spend $$15 then 50" You will still need to spend $50 if you want to accumulate points. You collect a point only when you apply ($15 out) and not successful, plus $35 for a licence if you want to hunt that year with someone who was successful. On the top of that you woul...

Re: Pandemic Therapy
I am very lucky to have about a half mile frontage on a small river that I can usually count on for some perch and trout in season (2 weeks to go). Alas the fish were uncooperative today - it happens. Either way a day outside is always better than a day inside. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/4...

Re: O/T: Besides hunting and fishing, what types of hobbies??
My most expensive by far is boating. Here is my last of the 3 boats I have owned. I think hunting is number 2, and then guns, and Excalibur's would be 3, maybe WIFE should be number 1.  Cheers!
