I can't imagine not owning a quality scale for measuring arrows and arrow components. I belong to an archery club here in CT. I'd guess that most, if not all, of our Trad and Primative shooters (a minority in the club) make/assemble their own arrows and have a scale. The opposite is likely true of ...

Guess I'm just an old fart thinking that if God wanted us to have stocks with thumb holes in them he would have made trees that way! Really though, I recently choose the Exocet over its sibling because 1) never shot with a thumb hole stock and 2) was mentioned to me here about the ease of thro...

Next to my suggestion I like pydpipers best. :) My suggestion? Go to this sight [ http://www.metric-conversions.org/cgi-bin/util/conversion-chart.cgi?type=5&from=3&to=17 ], set the the range [ the default ] works fine for arrows ], choose "Printable Format, print, laminate, hang chart i...

Curious as to what weight CB you're shooting. Maybe you could just stay with the 100 gr. heads giving you a 385 grain arrow? Maybe make your decision based on % FOC you'd get from each setup?

Though I live in Connecticut I do most of my deer hunting in Fulton County, PA where my brothers own property. A big reason for my getting the Exocet for my 65th BD was because of PA allowing it in the the archery seasons for the next 3 years - at least that is what I first understood. I will really...

The hooks have a roller for the string on the cocking aid. I beleive thats fairly important for a smooth draw Yes, and not just for smooth feeling but for accuracy as well. I had one of the pulleys inside the hook bind up. It was making the claw want to pull to the outside. I had to try and aim or ...

Hey, that looks real nice. I could fall asleep in that and my hunting buddies would never know to give me a hard time. :)

Is that all shoot through netting or will you open some ports? What are the approximate dimensions?

Humm. Before calling Dan I'll ask my son how much effort it was/is to pull up and get the second hook on the string.

Believe I measured 28.5" between handles but will check again tonight.

Thanks...

So glad you posted this. My rope cocker seems way to short @ about 8" from the string which means I have to lift about 4" in order to hooK-up. Think I'll call Dan Miller today and see what he has to say. Maybe an exchange is in order (I did by the package from him last week).

Perhaps the dealer left them loose on purpose figuring you'd need to make the final adjustment of level and eye relief. Perhaps the dealer then just forgot to tell you.

Best of luck with your CB.
