Range finder doubling for general uses?
Gents , I was thinking of getting a mid-level range finder to shoot longer ranges, but also wondered if it could double as a basic monocular/spotter for general hiking/travelling when I am not hunting. Is this commonly done or a bad idea for any reasons?( cost, durability ?)

Re: 20" Wyvern custom arrows for Matrix 380
Thanks fellas I might as well do this right. Zombie slayers it is. As it turns out buying them semi-bulk from the US will beat prices for lesser arrows here anyway, so its a no brainer.

Re: Disassembled 380 length
Thanks fellas, profile fixed. Thats peak temperature mostly its 90-100 summer days, but we also get 12ft rain a year in the rainforest so mould is another issue on perishable parts. Its just a matter of regular checking and airing out. Excaliburs have a good reputation here so I am sure if I do my p...

Re: Disassembled 380 length
Thanks czy horse, that's good news. What is the effect of extreme heat btw? I am in the tropics, up to 45C/113F temps through summer. Might be worth me storing the safe inside where I can keep the air on it then.

Thanks Gene for taking the time to do that, much appreciated.
Does anyone store their bow strung like this over the course of 1-2 weeks, or does it place too much stress on the limbs?

Thanks Paul, the legally required one is a metal gunsafe type needed for home storage, but you answered the next question I had as to a good travel case. I will check that out!

Re: Disassembled 380 length
Obviously I don't Have one on order, which in Australia could take a few weeks. In the meantime need to work out some lockable storage in advance of the bow arriving, being a legal requirement in my state.

Disassembled 380 length
Hi guys, can anyone tell me the length of a matrix 380m with the riser/limbs apparatus removed. I think I have the terms right. I am trying to work out storing it in a small safe when dissassembled. Thanks for any reply.

Re: Introduction and new Matrix 380
Sorry removing the riser, prod being old term for limb metal bar on crossbows.
Trying to work out length of the stock I guess without the riser on if that makes sense.

Re: Introduction and new Matrix 380
Hi guys just a question regards storage. Might anyone know the length of the bow with the prod removed?
Also whether the prod can be stored strung or is this bad for the limbs?

Also I have heard the term 'boo string' and wondered what they are and whether they would also be worth getting hold of?
