Re: mag 340 & 2219 arrows
Welcome to the forum! 2219s are fine and fairly common amongst guys who shoot aluminum. They do yield a heavier arrow though and you want a good amount of FOC for better accuracy. Four inch fletchings are ok as long as they aren't too soft. A broadhead that hangs out past the stirrup can easily be n...

Re: Turkeys
lol so many questions. Am I limited to Excalibur bolts? Or can I use any bolts as long as they have a flat knock? You do not have to use the OE arrows but they use a good quality arrow shaft. What ever you use make sure the spine isn't too soft and that the string sits at or near the center of the ...

Nice work AJ! BTW, how does that pattern on the wall look in person? In the pictures it looks like some of my kid's PJs.

Re: Sometimes you lose
I’m glad you made it back! When I was fishing every weekend on the ice at Scugog, I’d be fishing about 500 yards from a pressure crack. It went about 100 yards ending at an island 10” wide. There were sleds constantly going across the open water. Then it would gravitate to quads, then believe or not...

Re: Packing deer out
The best one's I've seen are made out of plywood. A few years ago in Ohio, I shot a deer 1.5 miles away from the truck on a gas cutline. The cutline as a serious up and down hilly path that I didn't dare drive my truck. So I just quartered the deer and made 4 trips with the quarters over my shoulder...

Turkeys
I’m looking forward to turkey hunting this year. I’ve used a Swat Crossbow Magnum on 3 of them. They were all body shots at the wing but at 40 yards and all passed through with the fletchings still in the birds. They are all didn’t take a step. Last year I killed 2 with my 20 gauge. I think I’ll use...
