Re: Hunting weight
My bad! You were all talking about crossbow weights! I’ll have to measure both of my modified Vixen II/Micro and Axiom/Ibex.

Re: Hunting weight
When I started bow hunting again 10 years ago I weighed in about 467lbs. I started my weight loss journey on July 25, 2016 and as of today, I weighed in just under 240 lbs! I’m down a whopping 230 lbs! Hunting is much easier and more comfortable now!

Re: .....The Assassin
I really like the new trigger! It shoulders nice and shoots awesome! The only thing that I don’t like or want is the moving latch & crank! Other than that, it’s a very nice shouldering & shooting crossbow!

Re: Can't get to proper brace height - puzzled?
My last string from Boo was put on as per instructions and was a smidge of 1/2” over the top brace height. After 3 weeks of sitting, was able to shoot it last week. After about 30 shots, the brace height was perfect! Not to mention an increase in speed and no more twange sound after the shot!

Re: Can't get to proper brace height - puzzled?
Danny Miller and I believe Boo also has told me to keep the string from 1/8-1/4” away from the string stops. I have never came close to the string resting on the string stops. I only use Flemish strings now. My last string from Boo is awesome!

I have one of Mike’s custom calls and it has never failed to call them bucks in yet! They are nice pieces of art too! Lucky hunter who gets this beauty.

That’s the only way I change my strings. I use the rope cocker to draw the stringer back. Good luck!
