Windy, 3 legged coyote down
I walked in from the farm house with the wind in my face just before first light. I cut right across the middle of the field and headed right to the tree stand. I figure with the strong winds I would position myself up high to watch the overgrown old orchard on my left and big hey field on my right....

Now again, remember, that I know absolutely nothing about the art of coyote hunting so please forgive my trivial questions. Judging by your pictures, ...

Re: Light rain and a double tap coyote down
Congrats. What caliber/bullet are you shooting? We have had very few run on us when hit with v-max bullets from 17fireball thru 25-06, even marginal shots. Of course, no two shots or animals are the same. Nonetheless, congrats of ridding the world of another yote. Using a .223...bullet is...

Snowy, windy, New Years Day coyote
I setup at first light and thought to myself I should be home in bed. With the wind blowing and snow squalls coming through I thought “what the heck am I doing out here”.....The farmer saw me pull in, he must have thought I was nuts….. Since I was already setup, I called on and off for 45 minutes be...
