Re: newbie needs opinion on se 350
As others have said you CANNOT have any movement whatsoever between the rail and the scope. Hold both tight and check for any movement between them. The trigger housing has 2 screws that hold it to the rail which are located under the stock. Then you have the 4 screws that hold the scope mount to th...

FOC question
This may be a dumb question but it seems that all of my arrows come up with a FOC of 15%+ and I am curious if others get similar results. I measure from the nock to the insert for 'A' input and subtract the length from the balance point to the insert for the 'B' input to this formula. Thanks for you...

I replaced the trigger in my Equinox with a TT trigger BUT I did not notice much difference. Most folks see an improvement but I did not. JMHO

Re: stringing aid snapped
I have always used lawn mower starter rope for my stringing aids with small 1.5" bowline loops in the ends. The bowline knot makes it easy to adjust the aid for length. See pic.

Re: String alignment
Just a thought but if a T-Square was placed on the rail then the string should be at exactly 90 degrees or am I missing something?

What xcaliber said, been there, done that
"Just make sure you cannot get your foot in the stirrup with an arrow in the channel. Sounds crazy, but it has happened where someone put a bolt into their foot uncocking their bow."

Re: buy from amazon
What am I missing here? If you buy an Excalibur from Amazon, Ebay or wherever I thought that the lifetime warranty was still valid. Why would you have to be concerned about buying one online?

Re: Tree Harness
I thought that I was too good of a climber to use any type of safety harness. I fell from a 16' ladder stand and I was very lucky that I was not seriously injured and able to walk away. Remember that IT IS NOT IF BUT WHEN you will fall. Always wear your safety gear whenever your feet are off the gro...

Re: Changing Scope mount?
Another option is to modify your current rail so that the scope ring mounts fit the Weaver style rail. "What are the differences between the “Picatinny” and the “Weaver” systems? The profile of the two systems is virtually identical. Depending on the quality of the machining done by the manufac...

Re: How can I tell which model crossbow I just received?
The spec sheet data, on this site, for the Micro models 315, 335 & 355 is wrong as it lists the power stroke at 10" and all 3 models use the exact same limbs. The power stroke must be different length to enable the power difference between the CBs.

Re: Semi Nubie hunting questions
Please make sure that you and your kids use a safety harness and are secured to a lifeline when you are off the ground. I fell from a 16' stand and was very lucky that I could walk away. Remember it is NOT IF BUT WHEN you will fall.
