Re: Breaking nocks
I usually order all my Black Eagle arrows and accessories from them directly you can get new plastic ones or they sell flat aluminum nocks I’ve used both. I think it’s all a matter of personal preference I’ve had good results with both. I’ve noticed chipping on my nocks before but for me it’s been f...

Re: Ghost Blind Sale
I think it’s worth the money But I would recommend buying the predator complete set it’s cheaper buying it as a set than individual items plus they usually have sales all throughout the year. I’ve had a couple of other ground blinds mostly Ameristep dog houses they are nice but usually after one sea...

Re: Ghost Blind Sale
I have extensions and they work well the back pack I think is a must makes it easy to carry everything. I wish I would have got the 2 panel extensions but I got a few months to get them. I think it’s a great ground blind that can be used anywhere it’s quick to set up and easy to take down. Works wel...

Re: Are we nuts?
Great thread I will have to admit I like speed though I switched from a Horton Hunter that I used for many many years and took many a deer with, but with the 405 there is no comparison. I could shoot both bows at the same time go to my target remove my bolt from the 405 get back to my bow before the...

I like the new bronze finish on the 308 but I also like that burnt orange that Easton put in their arrows years ago.

Check Tru Glo’s website they sell the fiber material if your looking for replacement fibers I believe they sell all diameters. Ive dealt with them before good to work with.
Hope this helps.
I forgot to mention they also sell fiber optic pins.

Re: Hard case for Matrix 380?
I tried the Manta but I agree with you it was a lot bulkier than the Bow Max was. I was lucky when I bought the 405 they had both cases in stock at Field & Stream and I was able to try them both out and they both worked the bow max was just smaller I believe the 405 is pretty close to the same s...

How is the cranking system working, any problems? I saw on one thread that a string was replaced during the show do you know how many time...

Keep your eye on the trading post or Craigslist should be able to find your buddy a good reliable crossbow there to get him started.

Re: Money Spent!!
I look at it this way why spend 200 or 300 on a crossbow then two years later buy another one because the 200-300 dollars broke and no warranty when you can buy an Excalibur and never have to worry about replacing it in two years and get a lifetime of use out of it.
