I'm thinking the 330 would be the best option for bowhunting whitetail deer ?
It was designed with the hunter in mind right?
Or are they all about the same except for the 310 & 330 being smaller and lighter?
Thanks
Ron.

Finally :)
Finally found a place about 50 miles from me that I can go to shoot a couple different Matrix crossbows. Gander Mountain near Wausau has an indoor range and a few Matrix crossbows. I will be going there as soon as the wife gets home from work in another hour.... This next hour is gonna seem like an ...

a few newbie questions
I will be purchasing a Matrix 330 in a couple weeks and have a few questions :) What is the best weight and length bolts to use for deer hunting? How many yards will this bow shoot and still be accurate? Do the bolt broadheads fly the same as target points, or will I need to re-sight it? Do the fanc...

Difference in noise level?
How much noisier is the 330 than the 310 ?
How much harder is the 330 to cock than the 310?
I plan on using this crossbow in another 20 years when I'm closing in on 80.
Of course by that time I may need to buy a homing devise for my arrows. lol

Re: Question about Dan Miller
Just got off the phone with Dan Miller. Was quite the experience just chatting with the guy. He definitely isn't in the business to make money. Told me I don't need all the accessories I want, and even suggested a less expensive model might fit me better... until I told him how much I fell in love w...

Re: Think I want the 330
I had back surgery about 24 years ago, and when I cocked the 380 I could feel it straining on my lower back.
From what I hear there isn't much difference between the 380 and the 350...
so I figure the 330 would be better for me.

I'm thinking the Matrix 330 is the bow that will fit my needs.
I will mainly use it for hunting, but will occasionally do a little target practice.
Will this be a good hunting bow?
I was planning on getting a good used one if I can find one, but the wife thinks I should get a new one.
Thanks.

Re: What do I really want???
Well, I like the thumb hole style stock. Not sure I really need the speed of a matrix, but am sure impressed by it. I,m starting to lean towards the 330. This will be my first (and possibly last) crossbow, so I want to make sure to get one that will last me a long time and one I will be happy with. ...

What are the best strings to buy, and how long do they normally last?
