Re: Allen Key Wrench set

Any good quality Imperial set that has 3/16 at the top end should do the job, EXCEPT that the Excalibur branded scope rings are metric, so you'll need a single separate key for those.

I've never seen a folding set that has both metric and Imperial on it.

Re: Vertical bow vs. crossbow accuracy

Top vertical bow shooters have always outshot top offhand crossbow shooters in competition shooting. However, since there have been very few crossbow shooters competing in the same competition events, it's possibly not a fair generalization to make. Last year in Ontario at the 3D Championship we had...

Re: Do crossbows shoot bolts or arrows?

Do you seriously think what you call them makes the slightest difference to an anti-crossbower? I mean, really.... Hater: "I hate crossbows and don't think they should be allowed in archery season." Supporter: "Why not?" Hater: "Because they shoot bolts, not arrows." Su...

Re: Hello from Guelph

Your nearest indoor place is probably The Bow Shop in Waterloo, and check into Royal City Bowmen for a local club. http://royalcitybowmen.org/

Re: Do crossbows shoot bolts or arrows?

I don't understand why some people are so concerned about what other people call their crossbow projectiles. Bolts, arrows - what difference does it make? DJH - I'm not absolutely sure what part of your post is a quote from someone else - I think all of it after the first line? In any event, who wro...

Re: Do crossbows shoot bolts or arrows?

I'm going to stick with the major manufacturers, plus the dictionary definitions of "bolt". Merriam-Webster: "a missile (as an arrow) for a crossbow or catapult" Dictionary.com: "an arrow, esp. a short, heavy one for a crossbow" Google Dictionary: "A short heavy ar...

Re: Excalibur lapel pin for charity auction

OK, bidding closed, and the winning bid is $60.

The bidder wanted to stay anonymous during the bidding, so unless I hear from them otherwise, I won't mention the name.

Thanks, everyone for your support!

Check your PMs for details.

Re: Do crossbows shoot bolts or arrows?

You can call them whatever you like, and don't let anyone intimidate you into insisting they must be "arrows" or must be "bolts". I think they're "bolts", and so do ALL of the major crossbow bolt manufacturers. Excalibur calls theirs Fire bolts Easton calls theirs Power...

Re: SLEEP NUMBER BEDS- AN INTRODUCTION

How about somebody reply to the website, offer to buy one of these things, get the address, and about 20 of us troop down there and beat the crapola out of whoever we find working there? :D

Re: cell phone mounted on a bow

How hard is it to download to the 'puter? You can simply plug it into a USB port with the included cable and your computer should recognize it as an external storage device. You can play vids/pics directly off the micro SD card, or drag or copy/paste the files onto your hard drive. Or you can put t...

I'm shooting (compound), but will be hanging out with the vertical bow people afterwards. I do hope to meet all of you, though. :)
