Have you tried taking them off and putting them back on as to adjusting them. I have had that problem a few times sometimes all it takes is a little adjusting . Try another arrow with the same blade could be the arrow I have had that happen it drove my crazy for awhile then I changed arrows and prob...

What is the pull wt of the matrix trigger ?

My son is the same size as you and he shot my Matrix 330 and said it was very comfortable to shoot . Had no issue with it .

I bet it is where the string is held by the claw as I call it and it is catching it when it is fired as it lifts up away from the string . Had that happen years ago with my Exomax it would cut my string apart. Got it fixed by Danny Miller then no problem .

Shoot it and then shoot it again since he is already shooting . I have done that with the Max no problem .

Question to Excalibur could you make a crank a roo that you can put the handle on either side ?

I got it backwards I have the right handed wind I am looking for a left handed wind ,

I am wondering if Excalibur makes a right handed wind crank a roo cocking aid ? The one I have you wind with your left.

I have had good results using Anise oil . Apply it every time you bait . I all so use used deep fryer oil on the ground on logs trees .

I know someone who was not as lucky pinned his foot to the ground . Out of hunting for a while . I check at least 4 times .

Crossbow power and small game or any game is really not so much the poundage of the bow . Rather the Kinetic Energy for small game it takes less then 25 foot pounds of Kinetic energy . med game around 25-41 foot pounds .large game 42-65 foot pounds .

Since I have to hunt archery with crossbow since late 90's early 2000 due to ms . Now I find that I really can't shoot a firearm that well anymore I fought with the firearms all last fall . So I am now hunting with crossbow only . at least I still out there /

The Matrix 330 was needed to keep me in the field because of it's size and Wt . I thought about it for more then a year it was not a luxury to me . I found one at a reasonable price and bought it . Again why did this thread reappear ?
