Re: Sad day for me

The ones I have do not open easily at all (I have had them for quite a while)
I have 3 naps on the arrows in my quiver, and 6 more in a broad head case.
These should last me for a few years.
I shoot 2.5 deer on average with each broad head. ;)

Re: Vertical bows we owned

My first bow was a Martin Lynx compound that only had about 15% let off  After about 20 years I gave it away and bought a Martin Jaguar Magnum.. it was only about 29" axle to axle but not as accurate as the Lynx. 5 years ago I bought my first crossbow (Matrix 310) and then ended up giving...

About the only thing I can cock without an aid is my BB gun
Try the rope on a 440
I cocked the 380 with a rope one time, but could instantly feel my back complaining so I went with the 310.
I will be purchasing a BD330 very soon ;)

Re: Long limb vs. short limb

Not a thing wrong wid Force 10 material n it has elasticity, it is a a very good material. What you don't want on Recurves material wid vectran in it I'm not saying there is anything wrong with them...they just don't have the elasticity that other string materials do. When going from a factory stri...

Re: Long limb vs. short limb

Strings Strings Strings... lol If you want to know what effect strings have on your limbs talk to Boo, ComfyBear, nchunterkw...or any other quality string maker. The older string material has more elasticity than some of the newer material and is easier on the limbs. It is my thinking that the highe...

Re: Long limb vs. short limb

I'm no pro on this topic but most of the research I have done on the Matrix line points to the higher poundage models having most of the problems. That said, I believe they have made changes to the riser to counter some of the issues. (I believe there were also other issues involved which were also ...

Re: correct broadheads

I use the 125 grain spitfire with my Matrix 310 (same as the Grizzly) and have not had a problem.
My arrows tipped with a 125 grain broad head weigh 426 grains and had a complete pass through at 42 yards last fall.
