Re: Sale @ B. P.
I shot an Axiom(composite) a couple days ago. I found it to be very pleasant to shoot, less twang and thump. Now full disclosure, my bows are both micro or matrix and they have much more draw weight hammering on them

Re: affordable crossbow friendly ground blind?
My supplier at work just cleared out a bunch of blinds for $53can. I ordered the last three. They are called "the hideout". They don't seem to be the utmost of quality, but for the price who cares. Any how, we shot an Axium out of it this afternoon, it worked great. Although I did sit back...

Re: Heads Up Shotgunner's
No no, I'd agree. They don't group worse in my experience, just always higher. We found the only ammo that wasn't worth shooting from the 220, was the black bow Winchester sabots. I don't recall the name, maybe XP? But they were designed like a big hollow point. They were acceptable, considering its...

Re: Heads Up Shotgunner's
Yes for sure.
Funny you mention the hornady over the Remingtons. I have consistently found hornady to group higher with all calibers. I will say, and I'm a huge Remington fan, that Big Greens guns might go up and down in quality, but their ammo is always spot on.

Cleared a bunch of lanes today, set up a blind for a buddy. I'll have my stands hanging by the end of the week. Crossbows are always ready.

Re: New micro 355
Love the micro 355, it really is a hard hitting hunting machine. Been shooting mine a lot the last week or so. Today I was shooting my friend Axiom , almost fell over I pulled so hard to cock it. It's amazing what you can get used to and what becomes routine

Re: Micro 335 string care
I found one of the factory strings on my 335 the centre serving was taking a beating pretty quick. Switched to a custom string from a board member here, and the problem stopped. I currently have two custom strings for each of my micros made by two different custom string makers on this site and the ...

20 yards from a 300 LB bear with two holes poked in him sounds like a bit of a thrill.

Re: Got a Letter from the Government...
But it was a good one. For those in Ontario you recognize the envelope with the Yellow inside that comes from the Big Game Draw people at MNRF. So of course I tore it open, and not that carefully and inside was my yellow moose tag with a little extra printing. It said "valid for one bull moose...

Those Savage 220 are just the cats ass! I set two up for my buddies last season, and they would both clover leaf out of the box with a Nikon scope.

Re: Titanium screw set.
I do see all the reasons. I just don't see them as cost effective " benefits" yet. But give me time and I'll probably by two sets and a matching ball cap.
