I was looking at the 340 td but I have the Axe 340 and paid a ton less for them and I can take it down with a single bolt as I do travel out of state in a small car . The latest Axe I put a tact zone on it .

I don't regret buy both of mine one has a tact zone the other a dead zone . You do need the charger ext for it . Was looking for 340 TD but the second axe was priced to good to pass .

Got mine this morning I got the aluminum one as I could not see putting the extra cash in for the carbon . Took the Axe out to try it . Since my right side has decided not work well and I am left handed I Turned the clamp knob to the left side and gave a try worked very well .

Two times that not being the original owner came to play and I stated from the start that I bought them used . That if I had to buy the limbs then I would .They came back with they were covered that was on a matrix 330 and a GRZ2 off a trading post and one limb on both cracked and again I told them ...

It is the same as the Axe just a different name take about half the 270 pounds so about 135 pounds . With the Axe and all my crossbows I use the charger ,

I started with the field pod but the micro's really don't fit very well . I think I will get one probably the carbon which is lighter .Thanks for the feed back . They have covered my crossbow issues when I have been the second owner . They have replaced limbs on a Matrix 330 which I bought used .

The first charger I had the hook broke when I was cranking it was that a surprise Excalibur sent me new hooks . Then I found one new still in package cheap ,

I also uncock the crossbow with the charger just have to put my wrist in the strap and push the release on lever of the charger . Pull the trigger and the anti dry fire and let the stringer aid or string down if you forget to put the strap to the handle on your wrist it will or can get away from you...

I never put the quiver on the crossbow so the bracket for that is never used . I have A few of them still in the package . The charger is so easy to put on and the release knob is on the left side .If this is the first time the charger will be used it may be a little stiff to put on you may have to ...

No you don't need the locktite on the bracket bolts as they have no stress on them I have brackets on 3 crossbows . Make sure you put locktite on the stirrup screws as they will loosen up .
