Assassin safety button/lever question
The absolute only issue I have with my new Assassin is that sometimes the safety button/lever (not sure of the proper term) requires a lot more effort than you would think to disengage. This, of course, can make an audible “click” which is not something you want in the field. Sometimes the button/le...

There’s also this one but it only works if the fletching is off.

Re: Crossbow Fishing...?
I was thinking maybe a Barnett recurve but even they are 150 pounds. That might still be a possibility I guess.

Re: Robin hooded my first bolt
I remember back when several of my buds shot longbows we used to try to Robin Hood. It was a very rare thing.

Re: Hunting weight
I weighed it this afternoon. With the (empty) quiver attached, scope, etc. I came up with 10 pounds and 5 ounces. Not too bad compared to what others are saying considering the crank is inside the stock.colouredchameleon wrote: ↑Thu Apr 26, 2018 6:55 pmwill keep a watch out for when you get a chance to report your findings

Re: .....detailed initial review of L'Assassino
Right about the case. I will probably only use the hard case when actually traveling. For a takedown case with more utility than the one that comes with it, the Explore case can’t be beat.

The balance and trigger and crank are indeed very impressive.

Re: Hunting weight
I’m not where I can weight my Assassin right now but I’ll guarantee you its a lot more Han 7.7 pounds. Closer to 10 I’ll bet. The good thing is there is a lot of the weight back in the stock where the crank is so the balance is actually good.
