Some meat was salvaged the temp here was cold last night. We have had coyotes for a while but now its suddenly a proplem l would have pushed it last nite if l knew this woulda happened. Live n learn l have 3 doe tags so the meat is not an issue l just hate feeding the bastards .

I normally use spitfires but l had bought 5 packs of excalibur exact cut broadheads at an estate sale this year .they performed perfect on the buck l just shot no rubber bands . (Nice sharp compact head with a sharp point ...American made also)

3/16 medium if you must . As mike said wouldnt bother with a band unless you have a 380 fps or above.

Yes at the beginning of the post "real" vanilla it specified and it it expensive you can try imatation if you want bit its just not the same has a kind of chemical odor. It is a food based scent wich would be considered a bait. Use at your discretion. I find it kind of crazy and one sided ...

I use all my crossbows during the season giving all equal time. I find myself using the slower bows the most. Little vixen and adopted manco the ibex l love the ibex's thumbhole stock.

Its bear season all of our archery season here.....but once in a blue moon a bear strolls thru here. soooo Your probably not going to harvest a bear in se pennsylvania
