Re: lots of deer, no shot

Good luck filling your remaining tags!! true, and it's not a major deal.. i just didn't like the whole walking in right at legal shoot time when deer seem to like to move... and setting up so close to us.. bu...

dad and i spent a few hours hunting for deer this morning.. saw 8 but no shots.. what was totally awesome? hearing 3 or 4 turkeys gobbling their heads off like it was the end of April... every single crow that flew over and cawed, these guys would gobble like crazy... easily gobble 20 or more times....

Re: buy from amazon
I suggest keeping an eye on the trading post right here. I have bought bows and numerous things from long standing, respected forum members and have only had positive experiences. As for Amazon, just check who the seller is and avoid anything from China. If Amazon is the seller returns are easy in ...

Re: Rage vs. Boltcutters
I'm one of the screw it on and go hunters L.C.B.H disparages on an earlier post. Pre-season I shoot a few target tips of the same weight as my broadheads (slick trick mags currently) at a few different ranges, then shoot one broadhead at 25 yards. The result has been the same each of the five years...

Re: Rage vs. Boltcutters
People blaming a broadhead for bad shots is a very common excuse,it does not matter which head, fixed or mechanical. If your setup is not set up and dialed in.That's the hunter, not the equipment. Some people should not be in the woods,no matter what they have on tip of arrow. yes, there are some peopl...
