camo dip done.. and scored??
as i mentioned i wanted to do a spray paint camo dip on the buck skull i shot yesterday... so here it is... first pic is of the first step.. skinned out the skull and boiled in water and dish soap for 4-6 hours.. took it out every hour or so and power washed it... then i wrapped the antlers for clea...

thanks everyone.. i still think about the whole event.. from first seeing him to watching my bolt hit him to him going down... got the head skinned out and am going to do a spray paint camo dip on the skull.. will post pics once it's done..

don't wanna go crazy out on a limb here, but I may just consider going this year.. I love holding and shooting all excaliburs.. but I was at the archery shop a couple days ago and held the micro 335 ( only Excalibur he had left in stock) and man, I would LOVE to have one of these micro's in my stand... looks and feels amazing.. wish I could shoot one, just to see how she feels..

I agree with your choice.. I told my boy ( this is his first year hunting) that whatever he chooses to shoot, shoot it and never feel bad for it... it's legal and it's good eating.. too many times other hunters will judge because of the size of deer we choose to harvest.. good on you for giving him ...
