.003 Vs .001 ?
Has anyone noticed a difference in performance? I have BEEs and Zombie Slayers in both .001 and .003 and have been unable to notice much if any change in poi. Granted, I am shooting 40 yards and less. Has anyone realized an actual difference in accuracy? I’d imagine that the straightness really come...

Re: String Life On The Lower Velocity Excalibur's
You can coat the serving with a little JB weld at the contact points for the trigger instead of wax and the serving will last forever but the string still will eventually start to stretch more, especially if you leave it in a hot truck cab. My 308 Short does a real number on the serving. I am not f...

Re: Tree stand seats
I have been using a similar ladder stand when hunting in northern NY. The stand has been up for at least 5 years and the fabric/mesh seat is fine. The seat is folded up against the backrest and secured in place at the end of every season. It’s also in a pretty dense pine so there is very limited dir...

Re: Block 6x6 blemish Target UPDATE Just Arrived
I have the had a block 6x6. Purchased it last fall and it’s been out doors ever since. It’s elevated and under a tree stand roof. No issues. Great target.

Re: Has the RUT started in your area?
Scrapes, chasing, and a lot of movement during the late morning, early afternoon. In addition to a huge spike in roadkills. It’s going to be on soon, if not already....... We had a nor’easter with heavy rain and strong winds from last night through tonight. Hopefully that makes for an active day tom...

Re: 308 Accuracy
Eric, I think the accuracy improvement came more from the stiffer spine of the executioners rather than the weight increase. These bows seem to like a higher FOC as well. You may have bumped that up by switching arrows too. If you give us the details of the arrow recipes, we could better zoom in on...

I find an arrow squaring tool helps with consistency if you make your own bolts.

308 Accuracy
I have a few hundred shots through my 308 and initially thought the usual Excalibur accuracy was compromised by the small package. Currently using my xb30 while I work on acquiring something a little more compact. Bench shooting the stock Quills and field tips (chronoed at 310 fps avg ), was getting...

That’s a well earned buck! Congrats!!
Your story has me thinking.... I know I keep the rope and quiver within reach, but do I need to start bringing the crank too??
This would have undoubtedly been a challenge even with an Assasin.....
