Just use it it will settle in with use this is normal you can hunt with it you should not notice much point of impact change at reasonable hunting ranges. now would be a good time to get another back up string and get it pre stretched before next season gets here. I used my serving jig to pre stretc...

Most of my hunting is on state land on the ground using natural cover at choke points in oak stands near bedding areas. or if I get up north out of a tree stand at the end of a birch ridge bordering ceders and tag alder swamp.
vert bows,x bows,muzzel loader,centrefires all used.

you want burnt coyote lumennoock EXCF3 this is a firebolt exclusive nock.
you will also want new bolts that have never had inserts installed before you can get both from Dan Miller 740 483 2312

Energy is only one part of the Equation here the advantage to the heavy heads is a high F.O.C. or front of center balance a high F.O.C bolt is more accurate and forgiving than a low F.O.C bolt.
The shorter the bolt the heaver the weight needs to be to get the forward balance.

In my opinion My brothers metal rail model Axiom is going up in value if this is replacing it looks like the rail is made out of a milk crate.
I love my Excalibur but this is not getting me excited over a new model.

Excaliburs are to be shot with flat nocks only I would not shoot the moon nocks If I were you.
