Re: Just Testing The Waters...
I had an aluminum rail Ibex for about 4 years. Some days I wish I would have never sold it, but have a Matrix 355 now and really love this bow. Handles and shoulders much better than the Ibex ever did. That being said...I personally wouldn't buy an Equinox. Much more difficult to cock repeatedly...a...

Re: Retired the equinox
I guess I,m going back words ! now instead of big magnum rifles I hunt deer with a 223 an a small vixen crossbow an fine they both get the job done with a well placed shot an a lot more fun to practice with for me.as I get older i find the smaller the better  Must be why I find it necessary to...

They are selling the ss320, ss330 and ss331 on eBay for $19.99 with free shipping. I bought one just for giggles.

Re: TriggerTech latest videos
Best addition to my crossbow I could have made. Just got the Trigger Tech single-stage trigger for my Matrix 355 a little over a week ago. Words can't describe the difference in the trigger...it's something a person has to feel! Well worth every nickel of the $129.95 I paid for it. There was...

Re: Dog House blind
I've used several different blinds in the past. For the $75 (found a clearance sale on one)the doghouse was well worth the price. I think in some places there just is no place or way to make a natural cover blind that'll work well. If you set it up early enough, the deer really don't pay any attenti...

You keep this video stuff up Mike and you maybe will get yourself a TV hunting show....
Always love watching how deer act and react to smells, sights and sounds. I never get tired of watching them. I think they're far more interesting to watch than people!

Re: Tuning the Boltcutters
When I used Boltcutters I did 1 of 2 things. I either heated up the insert and twisted the insert until it lined up or I'd use a used a nylon washer. Rubber ones work, but they usually squish out pretty easy if you twist too far. I had some nylon ones I got at the local bow shop that worked pretty w...

Re: Wrapping foot stirrup with what? V
Ha...did the same thing Wabi did....only twice cuz I cut the first cord too short. Then realized it stuck out too far and the fletching hit it. Of course, that wasn't until I shot the first arrow....well ok. 2nd arrow. Well all right it was the 4th arrow. I thought my scope had gone wacky before I c...

Re: Executioner arrows ?
I use a squaring tool I made to square the ends of all the shafts I use for arrows. Have been amazed at how far off some shafts are. The BEE shafts that I have used for arrows are putting close to right on though. If you have a squaring tool I would go ahead and square them, just to take 1 more vari...

Re: Dogs busting my hunt
Good luck with whatever you decide to do. It's pretty disheartening that there always has to be folks out there that take such poor care of their dogs. Plus it's always the dog that takes the brunt of whatever the humans screw up.

Re: Why not use a fixed blade broadhead?
I'm glad you fellas can get those NAP Thunderheads to work for you. I tried them a few years ago when I started with cb's and had trouble with them always planing. Never could get them to group worth a darn past 20 yards. After using the Boltcutters I went to the NAP Spitfire XP pro's when they came...
