Re: Crossbow Security
Agreed. Take the xbow apart at the riser and put it in the safe if you have room. If not, put it in a lockable gun case (usually a two rifle plastic job) and hide that someplace i guess.

Re: String break in
I know with the string that came on my 350LE it stretched a bunch after installing the REDS. Since i had to raise the brace height considerably to clear the bumpers. I forget how many times i cocked it and let it sit over night. Then uncock it during the day and rinse/repeat. If i remember it was a ...

Re: Boofest question
.....to further exacerbate my "to do" list....it is looking more and more that sometime this late spring I will be the proud recipient of "rotator cuff" surgery on my left shoulder (yes I am a lefty) which should effectively end any hunting for a good period of the 2016 season :...

Re: Excalibur 405 crossbow
Another great customer service story from Excalibur. It is something rare now a days to find a company that stands behind their product like they do. As well as provide the level of customer service that they do. Glad you got your xcal back to form!!

Re: Turkey day molested by the lady warden
I really hope you can find the time to go fight this bogus ticket. This is absolutely a "letter of the law" vs "spirit of the law" issue. The reg is clearly a safety deal. They dont want people making haphazard blinds that can allow movement to be seen within. Meaning the hunter ...

Re: Pattern on metal stock
I uploaded one of the pics you sent. Seems like it is almost like a grease stain or something. Or some type of heat imprint from the forming process. Hopefully someone else who knows more could help!

Re: Turkey day molested by the lady warden
Exactly. Your man made blind totally conceals movement which seems like the heart of the regulation. The addition of sticks to it doesnt do anything to take away from the fact that all movement is still concealed. To me it seems like she read only one part of the regulation and she didnt see that yo...

Re: Turkey day molested by the lady wardon
What a joke. Wonder how many hunters have been shot inside a brushed in blind compared to a non-brushed in blind. Did she say why you cant brush in a turkey blind? My guess is they consider it more dangerous since a hunter might confuse it for a giant turkey and unload on it. She may have saved your...
