I have found the aiming hashmarks on a hawk scope to be some what confusing . Maby im old but i just want a simple T or circle to see not a dog and pony show . If they made a simple without that i would be interested.

My vix 2 is doing 265fps with a 435 grain zombie my leupold xbones is at 250 on the speed ring.dont let the slow speed bother you on this bow its a deadly bow inside 30 yards.l never shot it beond at deer.

To be honest i like the offspring better than my micro .l put a micro stock on it . All the controls are just the same as a excal matrix .very quiet and narrow in a blind . The bow is very dependable l bought it because of the excal like parts used on it .

The bolt has no speed ring is dialed in at 305 fps your micro is probably shooting at 310 just gue ssing ..should be pretty much spot on . I have one one my m 330 spot on all yardages love it. The leupold cross bones is better if you have a little more money to spend with a speed ring . I have both ...

I agree on the more power idea totally with a crank . But keep in mind that a 280 fps vixen is still slinging a bolt as fast as a slower compound bow that kills moose all the time. Last year a giant moose was killed with a vixen 2 by a lady.

My micro chronoed fastest with the lowest brace height (eigth inch) but i dont think its best for its short little limbs. Knock on fiberglass the fist generation bow is still splinter free.... original limbs with a jillion shots .maby im just lucky or i got a good one.micro limbs remind me of my ita...

Go somewere that has matrix sapphire and see if she can cock it a micro is gonna be tough. A 310 or better yet a used vixen (easy to cock)WOULD BE MY PICK .my wife can cock a vixen or a sapphire but not a short limb micro.
